What won the race: Polesitter Steve Banal of Lincolnton, N.C., survived a late-race restart in leading all 40 laps of Saturday night's third annual Bob Sharp Memorial, collecting the $5,000 top prize for the second straight year at Sumter Speedway. Banal beat Ben Watkins by 1.118 seconds for his first career Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series victory after his first career Ultimate Southeast Series triumph in last year's Sharp Memorial.
