Semifeature
Joining fellow Georgian Dale McDowell as a two-time semifeature winner, Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., led all the way in the second 25-lap preliminary for another $12,000 payday. The outside front-row starter raced to victory without serious challenge, taking the checkers 1.340 seconds ahead of polesitter Nick Hoffman.
