What won the race: Holding off early challenges from Jon Mitchell then a late-race surge by Kyle Beard, Morgan Bagley of Longview, Texas, led all 30 laps to win Friday's $5,000 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series weekend opener at Revolution Park. Bagley beat Beard by 0.486 of a second for his first Comp Cams win this season and ninth of his career.

Quotable: “I feel like we started off precent decent which was kinda not normal for us. We’ve been sucking the last couple of weeks and we had to just get a chance to sit back and think about, we really needed that weekend off just to kind of wrap our head around things,” Bagley said. “I feel like I do a terrible job on starts and (Jon Mitchell) kinda drug us down there and it kinda helped me out, so I might take notes for myself the next time I get to start on the front row.”
