What won the race: Driving underneath Brandon Overton in turns one and two on lap seven, outside front row starter Ashton Winger of Hampton, Ga., led the rest of Saturday’s Billy Clanton Classic at Senoia Raceway for his fifth career World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series victory. Winger beat Tim McCreadie by 0.733 of a second for a $15,000 payday.
Quotable: “When I got the lead the way I did, I was like, ‘Man, I’m gonna have to cowboy up for the rest of this thing,’ ” Winger said. “(The cushion) was real thin down there, and I don’t know … I mean, I drove in the fence a couple of times.”

Trey Mills retired during the lap-46 caution with left-front suspension damage after getting pinched into the backstretch wall while running fourth. ... Pole-starting Brandon Overton paced the race's opening six circuits before fading to finish seventh. ... Sam Seawright improved 11 spots to finish sixth. ... The 50-lap feature lasted 17 minutes, with 12 starters completing the distance. ... Payton Stevenson made his series debut in a car prepared by veteran Clint Smith, finishing 21st.
